Dublin Institute of Technology in Dublin Virtually Live is pleased to announce the “Is One Life Enough” Theme Song Contest.
. All Second Life Live Artists are eligible including musicians and DJ’s.
. All entries must be received by 15-Nov-2010. Winners will be posted 01-Dec-2010.

Highlights

Is One Life Enough
. IOLE is an award-winning, college credit course on the use of social media
. Students attend classes as avatars and maintain online journals
. IOLE is now available in-world starting fall 2010
. As part of the IOLE, in-world publicity launch we need a great theme song!

Prizes 
. Awards include recognition, promotion, and prizes from Dublin Institute of Technology in Dublin Virtually Live.

Eligibility
. You must be a Second Life Live Artist. This means you have a Second Life avatar with which you play, or have played, regularly in Second Life entertainment venues.
. You must be 18 years or older or have a guardian who can sign for you.
. You may be a live musician or live DJ.

Songs
. Songs must be original artist work.
   Originals, parodies, mashups are acceptable
   No covers
. Songs may be of any musical style.
. Songs must have “G” lyrics
  * G: General audiences – all ages

Terms
. Email us your entry using the entry form below.
. Entries must be received by midnight SLT, 15-Nov-2010
. You give us the right to use your music for noncommercial, positive publicity and promotional purposes
. We credit you
. You retain the right to use your music as you see fit

Judging
. There will be a popular vote where people can listen to your song and vote for it directly from our website
. There will be a judge’s vote received from a selected panel of DIT in DVL and guest judges.

Award Categories
. Popular Award
. Judges Award
. Best Original, Best Parody, Best Mashup, Best Humor, Best Drama, Best Action, Best Style, etc. etc. etc. (these are based on entries received)

Timeline
. Send your entries between now and midnight slt, 15-Nov-2010
. We will acknowledge receipt of each entry immediately on receipt
. We will post all eligible entries on our website beginning 16-Nov-2010
. Winners and awards will be posted 01-Dec-2010
