Virtual Reality

STRUCTURAL LANGUAGE – language of body, movement, sensation REPRESENTATIONAL LANGUAGE – language of interpretation, label, meaning
EXAMPLE – a baby, learning to reach, grasp, crawl EXAMPLE – a person, speaking to a friend about a project

NOT VERBAL – direct experience only VERBAL – can refer to an experience but is not the experience itself
NOT PLASTIC – reality has hard edges PLASTIC – can invent, create beyond reality-based ideas
